At Tri City Fun Soccer Club (F.U.N.), serving Fremont, Union City, and Newark, we believe that soccer should be both fun and developmental. Our unique three-pronged approach—1v1, Group, and Team Training—ensures that every player benefits from a well-rounded experience. 1v1 sessions focus on perfecting individual skills, group training fosters chemistry among players, and team training prepares athletes for real-game scenarios. This structure creates an environment where players of all ages and skill levels can thrive.

We welcome players as young as 18 months to as advanced as college, MLS Next, and semi-pro levels. No matter where you are in your soccer journey, we provide the coaching and support needed to take your game to the next level.

My Journey into Coaching

My coaching journey began at the age of 14, when I started training kids in my neighborhood. I would spend countless hours practicing in front of my house, eventually catching the attention of local parents who requested training for their children.

Since then, I have coached for various youth clubs and summer camps across the area, refining my ability to work with players of all ages and skill levels. One of my most impactful roles was with a contractor in San Francisco, where I coached at preschools, private schools, public parks, and even birthday parties. During this time, I worked six days a week, training over 300 children per week, some as young as two years old!

Most recently I have served as a Coaching Director, overseeing 30+ locations consisting of preschools, daycare's, and elementary schools. This role allowed me to expand my leadership in youth soccer development while ensuring high-quality coaching across multiple sites.

A Legacy of Experience & Dedication

With over two decades of experience in the soccer world, I have worn many hats—player, referee, coach, coaching director, and league founder. Having played and officiated at competitive levels for more than a decade each, I have gained a deep understanding of the game from multiple perspectives. My contributions to the local soccer community in Fremont, Union City, and Newark include helping establish multiple leagues and, most recently, serving as a Referee Director for the past two years.

As a player, I had the privilege of training at high levels, including a preseason with De Anza Force Academy under Shaun Tsakiris (USA Men’s Youth National Team Coach) following the 2013-2014 season. You might recognize the name—Tsakiris' son is currently a player for the San Jose Earthquakes.

My Referee Coordinator role was an independent contractor position, where I created and cultivated relationships over nearly a decade to negotiate multi undisclosed fee contracts. This experience has given me deep insights into the administrative and logistical aspects of the game, further enhancing my ability to build a top-tier soccer program.

Now, I am thrilled to bring all of this experience together to create the best soccer program for our players, families, and coaches.
